Worker claims dismissal due to offensive tattoo

A worker has claimed he was fired because of a tattoo reading ‘ISIS’, inked onto the inside of his lip.

Kirk Soccorso, who had worked at the Home Depot store in New York as a tool demonstrator for six months, claimed he got the tattoo four years ago when dating a girl named after the Egyptian Goddess of nature.

He overheard colleagues talking about ISIS, referring to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, and decided to show his tattoo to them.
