Social recruiting is not new. According to research collated by Staff.com, 93% of companies use LinkedIn to recruit, 66% use Facebook and 54% use Twitter.

Social media gives recruiters and HR professionals access to a huge pool of potential candidates as well as a way to promote their employer’s brand. This brings great opportunity, but if done badly, can be very damaging. We must remember, ‘With great power comes great responsibility’.
