Budget 2015 - 'Britain is working again'

The Chancellor of the Exchequer gave his Budget to Parliament yesterday, announcing that the whole of Britain is ‘getting back to work’.

George Osborne addressed the Deputy Speaker, saying: “Five years ago, millions of people could not find work. Today, I can report: more people have jobs in Britain than ever before.”

Osborne went on to say that there are now a record number of people in work - with more women in work than ever before.
