Staff salaries set alight by boss's wife

A woman who had been given £20,000 of staff wages to look after by her husband accidentally set the notes alight after storing it in the wood-burning stove for safekeeping, and forgetting it was there, the Daily Mail report.

Hao Bin, from Shaoshan in central China's Hunan province, was looking after the money that her husband intended to use to pay the builders working for his construction company.

However, the morning after she put it in the stove, his wife went to make a pot of tea, throwing a lighted match into where the cash was stored to boil some water.
