Facebook sick leave rant could see employee jailed for five years

A helicopter mechanic could face up to five years in jail after posting a rant about his employer on Facebook.

Ryan Pate has been arrested in the United Arab Emirates after posting a complaint about his employers Global Aerospace Logistics on the social networking site.

The dispute began last year when Pate requested his holiday leave be extended to allow him to see a doctor for a back injury.
