Barclay's boss gets £1.1million bonus

Barclays boss Antony Jenkins is set to take home a £1.1million bonus for the first time since becoming CEO in 2012 - taking his total pay for 2014 to £5.5million.

Jenkins' bonus has been justified by Barclays' unexpected rise in profits, which were around £300million better than expected, rising by 12% to £5.5billion last year.

Despite this, Barclays could be set back by £1.25billion, following an investigation over suspected manipulation of foreign currency rates.
