
Former staff of npower have spoken out about their revulsion at receiving letters from the firm asking them to ‘celebrate’ what the company is getting right – such as ‘putting the customers first’.
Staff at the company’s Fenton unit were first told of possible redundancies before Christmas in 2013, 550 of which then spent their last day with the firm in June last year.
However, because of an admin ‘mistake’ many of those ex-workers were sent letters by the company asking them to take ‘personal responsibility’ for the firm doing well, the Stoke Sentinel report.
