MPs reveal Tube worker sacked for having epilepsy

A Tube worker has been dismissed for having epilepsy, according to MPs.

Labour’s Kate Hoey, a former minister, revealed Karen Guyott, 29, who was diagnosed about five years ago, had now been “dismissed due to her epilepsy”.

Hoey explained that an incident in January provoked the London Underground to argue that Ms Guyott’s condition was “too risky for them to able to manage”.
