National Gallery staff accidentally poisoned after pest problem

The National Gallery is waging a war against an army of rascal rodents – and staff are not escaping unscathed either.

As many as 40 mischievous mice have already been caught but it appears they aren’t the only ones suffering the effects of traps set out for them.

Three security guards have fallen ill in the past week with the Daily Mail reporting that they are thought to have ingested the poison which had been laid down in the gallery’s Sainsbury Wing.
