Sainsbury's cancels 'sexist' staff party

Sainsbury’s has axed a staff ‘rear of the year’ competition after complaints were made that it was sexist.

The firm’s Ely branch had planned an Oscar-themed joke awards ceremony on February 28, complete with red carpet and photographer.

During the awards ceremony, some of the categories including Sexiest Male, Sexiest Female and Most Blonde Moments, as well as male and female Rears of the Year.
