Mismatch between HR and employees' views on work-life balance

67% of HR professionals believe that their employees have a balanced work-life. However, under half (45%) of employees feel that they don't have enough time for personal activities.

One in five employees spent over 20 hours working outside of the office during personal time per week, according to the “2015 Workplace Flexibility Study” by WorkplaceTrends.com and CareerArc.

With technology literally at our fingertips, employees are finding it harder to disengage and leave work behind. According to Dan Schawbel, founder of WorkplaceTrends.com, “Technology has expanded the 9-to-5 workday into the 24/7 workday.”
