
The HR function should be ashamed that it hasn't progressed in the last decade, according to the Managing Director of CMP Resolutions.
Katherine Graham believes that "there has been very little improvement in HR practices. The quality of management is as poor as it's ever been - management in Britain is no better now than it was ten years ago."
Speaking exclusively to HR Grapevine at the HR Directors Business Summit, Graham supports her point with examples of high-profile remuneration scandals and diversity issues that continue to be reported in the press. She says: "Equality and diversity has got no better. You'd think with all the work that is being done on equality, that at least would be being done correctly but it isn't. There is still story after story after story about; senior managers bullying, homophobia, etc - it's still there."
