
Nisa retail have fired two Non-Executive Directors following the leak of members’ information.
Harris Aslam and Raza Rehman have been shown the door after the investigation, run by auditors EY and Kroll which began last September, in response to the circulation of a spreadsheet containing shopkeepers’ details and online passwords in the run up to Nisa’s annual meeting.
Chairman Christopher Baker speaking to The Grocer said: “It was found that a file of members’ contact information was shared by a Nisa employee on the request of a member; both parties didn’t understand that this was a mistake.”
