Company implant microchips in staff

A hi-tech office has taken the next step in security by implanting chips under the skin of employees.

Staff working at Epicenter, a new office block in Sweden are being given the option to have a very small  RFID (radio-frequency identification) chip implanted in their hand, instead of swipe cards for the entry system and use of the photocopy.

Workers have been told there will be further services available in the future too, including using the swipe of the hand to pay in the café, according to the BBC.
