How to be the most productive at work


Workday productivity is not about how much work you do, it’s about how you structure and utilise your time.

The most productive workers tend to work for 52 consecutive minutes followed by a 17-minute break, according to research conducted by the productivity app, DeskTime, which tracked their most productive employees’ computer use.

Employees maximised their 17 minutes break by spending time away from their computers, going outside for a walk, doing some exercise, or socialising with co-workers.

Aside from the typical boost you get from a cuppa and a bit of gossip, making time for looking at cute animals can also heighten productivity according to researchers at Hiroshima University.
