British bosses most upbeat in Europe

British business bosses are the most positive in Europe, according to research released by PwC.

The survey of more than 1,000 Chief Executives found that three out of five of UK CEOs were more optimistic about the growth prospects of their companies when compared to three years ago, the highest rates in Europe.

However, bosses did admit to a worrying shortage of skilled workers, citing it as the biggest potential danger to effect business confidence in the UK.
