37 firms have been “named and shamed” for failing to pay the minimum wage by a list compiled by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
H&M, the popular retail giant and Welcome Brake, the service station operatory, are just two big names on the list.
The firms will be fined a total of £51,000 for their failure to pay the minimum wage and they are also being made to pay affected staff the £177,000 they were underpaid.
