
UK broadcaster Channel 4 has announced strict new diversity guidelines that will see executives lose their bonus if targets are not met.
The targets will see women, black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) people and the disabled given leading roles in radical new changes set out by the broadcaster.
Channel 4 has said that by 2020 six per cent of the workforce will be lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT), up from the current 2.4% and 20% will be BAME - a figure currently at 15%.
