CNN upset female staff by permanently replacing presenter on maternity leave

Women at CNN are said to be furious that a New Day morning show anchor has been permanently replaced while she was on maternity leave.

The news network announced on Friday that Kate Bolduan would not be returning to her role. Instead, Alisyn Camerota who has been temporarily filling in as co-anchor will take Bolduan’s place.

Page Six have reported that staff at the network feel Bolduan was pushed out of her role unfairly while on maternity leave, blaming boss Jeff Zucker for mismanaging the situation.
