
The son of a Romanian business magnate has sparked outrage after telling 7,000 staff not to expect a pay rise as he would be getting a Bugatti, it has been reported.
Victor Micula’s father’s company has recently won £64million in a court battle with the Romanian treasury but on hearing the news he posted on his Facebook: “Salaries won't be raised, I'm getting a Bugatti”.
His father Viorel was forced to play down the claims, explaining that salaries would not be raised as the company needed the money to pay current expenses.
