Tesco Head of Remuneration committee steps down

The head of Tesco’s remuneration committee has stepped down, the company have announced.

Stuart Chambers, the former Chief Executive of Pilkington has sat on the board for Tesco’s since 2010. He will be succeeded by Non-Executive Director Deanna Oppenheimer from 1 January; Chambers will however remain on the board.

It is the latest upheaval for the supermarket chain since the appointment of Chief Executive Dave Lewis.
