Karen Carberry, former Finance Director at Reed, has been jailed for four years after being convicted of stealing more than £300,000 from the recruitment giant.

The 45-year-old got away with the fraud for more than three years before one of her team became suspicious at errors in the accounts.

When Reed investigated it emerged that Carberry had used a forged certificate on her CV when she joined the firm 11 years earlier and was not even a qualified accountant.
