Top 10 jobs parents want for their children

Almost half of parents hope for their children to become doctors one day, a new study has found.

The study from Virgin Media shows that parents’ top aspiration for their children is to see them become a doctor (49%), with engineering following closely behind as a profession that parents would like their children to go into.

Whilst lawyer, tech entrepreneur and App developer also scored highly, professional sportsperson and musician/artist scored the lowest, with only 16% indicating that they would be happy with their children pursuing a career in these areas.
