Lord Heseltine: British workers are lazy

The British “productivity puzzle” is a myth and exists out of the laziness of the workers. That’s the opinion of veteran Conservative peer, Lord Heseltine.

The 81 year old and former Deputy Prime Minister has called for a regional revolution after blaming Britain's indolance as the reason the productivity rates in this country are lower than other European countries. He told The Times: “We don’t get up early enough, we don’t work hard enough, we’re not ambitious enough.”
