Haymarket names new Head of HR

Haymarket Media Group has announced the appointment of Kim Liddiard to the position of Group Human Resources and People Development Director.

Liddiard has worked within the media sector for both the BBC and BSkyB. She has also worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland, which she left in 2004 to become Human Resources Director for the Forestry Commission of Great Britain. Liddiard will start her employment at Haymarket on 15th September 2008 at the Group’s headquarters in Hammersmith.

Ian Ashcroft, Liddiard’s predecessor, is leaving Haymarket after completing his three-year fixed-term contract. Jeremy Duckworth, Haymarket’s finance director, has high hopes of his successor: “Kim’s wealth of knowledge and experience in HR positions her well to fully support our vision to become the employer of choice in the media sector.

“As a demonstration of our commitment to this aim, we have appointed Kim a main board director of Haymarket Media Group Limited and look forward to her contribution at this level.”

Liddiard comments: “I am delighted to be joining such a successful business and contributing to its continued growth and success. It’s exciting to be able to play a part in developing Haymarket for the future.”
