A hotel has caused outrage after posting a job advert for a porter that read ‘not a role for ladies.’
Whatley Manor, a five-star retreat in the Cotswolds, put the advert in the window of a Post Office, the Daily Star reports.
The ad read: "The work involves moving luggage, moving cars, tending fires, generally taking deliveries, and keeping the reception area tidy."
However, it added: "(Sorry, it's just not a role for ladies!)"
