Businesses are facing an alarming burnout and need to evolve.
Research by Morgan McKinley has found that the vast majority (81%) of employees are working beyond their contracted hours.
Those that work in high-level positions were twice as likely to work more than ten hours than those in entry-level positions (42% compared to 21%).
75% said they felt obligated to work more than their contracted hours, but only 13% said they were compensated for this voluntary overtime. Furthermore, 32% said they weren’t productive during these extra hours.
