Company gives employees day off to watch Game of Thrones season 6 premiere

In the game of thrones, you win or you die - or you get the morning off so you can stay up to watch the latest episode online.

Lucky employees at British tech firm +rehabstudio were told by their managers that they’d be getting half a day of annual leave so they could watch the Game of Thrones season six premiere. The episode will air on 24th April, but can be streamed online at 2am in the UK.

Operation’s Director Emma Willis shared the staff email on LinkedIn. It read: “All +rehabstudio staff…will also receive an additional half day (morning) holiday following the first episode of each new season of Game Of Thrones when simulaunched with the US.

“US staff are reminded not to share spoilers on the intranet until after the show has aired in the UK 24 hours later.”
