18 best jobs for people with a good memory

If you can still vividly remember your first day of school, or even what you ate for lunch on Tuesday last week, then chances are you have a great memory – a valuable trait in the job market.

An analysis of the Occupational Information Network (O*NET), a US Department of Labor database that compiles detailed information on hundreds of jobs, has found the positions with a high “memory importance” score.

The Independent reports that O*NET ranks how important “the ability to remember information” is in any job, assigning each a score between one and 100. Positions that require a lot of memorisation receive a higher score.

The study found that the roles that required the best memory were actor, singer and any role within the clergy.
