Pret A Manger displays novel employer brand in hilarious Twitter exchange

What started out as a complaint over social media has turned into an uproarious discussion of lyrics with fish-based puns.

Hospitality and retail chain Pret A Manger has displayed a vibrant, playful company culture and employer brand. The staff in charge of the social media team have clearly been encouraged to express themselves on the job, and it has benefited the business with clear customer engagement.

Tom Dodds tweeted Pret expressing dismay over a crayfish and avocado wrap, calling it “possibly the worst tasting item [I have] ever eaten,” the Daily Mail reports.

The social media team apologised and offered him a free lunch and compensation, adding: “Please let us know if we can be of any further help.”
