Robots to cause redundancy in 50% of jobs in 11 years

Experts have revealed that around 50% of occupations existing today will be completely redundant by 2025 due to the rise of artificial intelligence and its ability to transform firms.

According to a new report by consulting organisation CBRE and China-based Genesis, customer work, process work and huge amounts of middle management are set to disappear.

The rapid advances of technology have caused potential threats to many jobs for a long time now with the creation of things like self-driving cars and carebots for the elderly people.
