
More than half (52%) of companies do not provide any financial education to their employees despite half of employees requesting access to it, according to a new survey .
The research was carried out on behalf of employee benefits adviser Secondsight, part of national financial advisers, Foster Denovo.
Meanwhile, two thirds (67%) of employees in the UK claim they don’t receive financial education from their employer. A higher proportion of older people, in the 55+ age bracket, (77%) claimed they had not received any form of financial education.
