Phones 4U - 1,700 jobs still to go despite EE, Vodafone and Dixons takeovers

Close to 1,700 Phones 4U jobs will go after administrators announced the closure of 362 stores.

The retailer went into administration last week after failing to secure deals with EE and Vodafone to sell the networks’ services.

Rob Hunt, from the administrators PwC  said: "It is with much regret that we have today made the difficult decision to close a large number of stores.
