PayPal President, David Marcus, tells disengaged employees to quit

David Marcus, President of PayPal, has sent an email to employees telling them to quit if they aren’t engaged with the brand and its products.

The email, sent out earlier this week, was addressed to San Jose employees of the international e-commerce company. It begins with Marcus stating that he has been “struck by the commitment” of PayPal employees internationally but believes those located in the company’s headquarters “lag behind” colleagues in other locations.

This leads to Marcus criticising those that have refused to download the PayPal app on their phone or have forgotten their PayPal password; “that’s unacceptable to me, and the rest of my team, everyone at PayPal should use our products where available. That’s the only way we can make them better, and better.”
