
Apple and Facebook hope to improve attraction and retention of top female talent by offering to pay for them to have their eggs frozen.
Facebook is offering staff up to $20,000 (£12,570) to allow staff to delay having children until later in their careers while Apple is set to offer a similar scheme from January.
The process typically costs $10,000 to $15,000 with a further $1,000 each year to keep eggs frozen.
