'Fury' | Netflix 'horrified' by Queer Eye workplace bullying allegations

Netflix is dealing with unexpected internal and external scrutiny after Queer Eye star Karamo Brown publicly alleged he was “bullied” on set, triggering what insiders described as shock among senior leaders.

The claims emerged just ahead of the show’s conclusion and triggered confusion across press, talent and production teams.

A production source said executives were “horrified” by the timing and substance of the allegations and insisted there had been no internal signal that issues had escalated to that level.

“Netflix is frustrated that all of this is coming out at the eleventh hour. They were blind-sided by him not showing up for interviews,” the source said, adding, “That was not originally the plan and there has been little to no communication from his team to the Netflix team.”
