A number of employees linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs have brought forward allegations that they have been left unpaid during his imprisonment.
Combs’ legal and operational apparatus is facing new scrutiny after reports that employees and attorneys associated with the music figure have not received compensation while he is incarcerated in New Jersey.
The claims surfaced through unnamed sources who alleged that at least one person stopped working due to unpaid bills.
Financial oversight and payment disputes
According to the reports, Combs’ finances are being overseen by Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group, a business management firm said to be monitoring spending and approving expenses.

The alleged delays include payments to attorneys handling civil cases and other employees engaged in day-to-day support work.
Combs’ representative, Juda Engelmayer, rejected the allegations of non-payment. Speaking to TMZ, she said: “People, personnel, and attorneys are all being paid, and no one is leaving.” She added that “Sean Combs controls his own finances. Everyone gets paid for their work once it's completed and confirmed, after routine review.”
Family budgets and controlled expenses
The claims extend beyond employees. Reports say that family members are required to operate within set budgets and must submit invoices through Tri Star when expenses exceed allowances.
Sources alleged that approval is not guaranteed, even for routine disbursements.
One example involved a family dinner in New York City the night before Combs was sentenced. According to reports, an invoice for the gathering was initially rejected before reimbursement was eventually issued.

Legal backdrop and cultural reaction
Combs received a 50-month prison sentence after being found guilty in October of transporting individuals for prostitution, with time served credited toward the total. The sentencing has intensified interest in the status of his business network, employees, and family operations.
While it's a unique siutation, the mess of employee claims, financial controls, and public scrutiny shows how corporate workforce management issues can spill into the spotlight when the figure at the center is both employer and brand.
