'Continued growth' | Hershey unwraps new CHRO with tech-driven HR focus

The Hershey Company has appointed Natalie Rothman as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Rothman will lead Hershey’s global human resources function and report directly to president and CEO Kirk Tanner.

She brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership, having served as CHRO at Inspire Brands and Advance Auto Parts. Her career spans consumer products, retail, food service, automotive, and beauty, with a strong focus on supporting hourly and frontline employees.

“We’re pleased to welcome Natalie to Hershey,” says Tanner. “Her experience leading HR transformation and developing talent across large organizations will support our continued growth.”

HR transformation and technology

At Inspire Brands, Rothman directed modernization initiatives that introduced business process automation and AI tools. Her leadership also guided efforts to enhance efficiency and workforce management through technology-driven programs.

During her tenure at Advance Auto Parts, she oversaw cultural change projects and capability building using technology-enabled solutions, advancing HR processes across the organization.

Board roles and professional background

Rothman is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar and the Human Resources Policy Association. She holds board positions at Udemy and Pearce Services, and provides advisory support to Emory Goizueta Business School and New Mountain Capital.

Her cross-industry background and extensive board-level engagement brings experience in aligning HR strategy with broader business objectives.
