McDonald's appoints new CPO to strengthen 'employer of choice' reputation

McDonald’s USA has appointed the experienced Pat Myers as its new Chief People Officer, who comes with a resume that includes stints at consumer brand giants Target, Mars and Kraft-Heinz.

Myers joins next month from Medtronic, with a mandate to lead an overhaul of the employee experience across its restaurants and corporate operations. His appointment follows the interim leadership of Jordann Nunn, who helped maintain continuity through a transitional phase and now moves into the role of Chief Field People Officer.

He brings with him decades of HR leadership from some of the world’s largest consumer-facing companies and a career rooted in inclusive, performance-driven culture transformation.

The appointment signals a sharpened focus on hiring, retention, development, and engagement for McDonald’s US workforce.
