Where do we go from here?

Since 2017, over 10,000 firms have been legally required to report their gender pay gap.

In recent years, progress has most definitely been made in closing the gender pay gap - although much more needs to be done. True gender equity is a complex and nuanced concept that goes beyond pay. As with all diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, it requires monitoring and measurement from the HR function.

So, where do we go from here? What are the keys to spearheading equality within the workplace?

In this session, we'll look to explore these fundamental areas:

  • How pay equity and transparency can help promote gender equality and foster a fairer and inclusive future;

  • The main drivers of the gender pay gap and strategies to overcome them, including technology;

  • The importance of transparent salary structures, pay equity audits, and measures to avoid discrimination in hiring and promotions.

During the morning, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer discussions, ask questions, and network with likeminded senior HR leaders.
