As pandemic lockdowns begin to lift in the UK, business leaders continue to steer their people into a forever-changed and still-shifting world of work. Whilst the future remains uncertain, one thing is clear - the employee experience has become more complex, more important, and more digital than ever before.

But how are workers really feeling about their employer’s response so far and what should leading organisations be doing to ensure they are ready for the new world of work?

This is a report based on survey findings from ~3,000 employees across UK, France, and Germany— gathering insights on a range of topics from health & safety to business continuity, productivity, and the future of work.

Key findings include:

  • 65% of employees agree that they have received support and care from their manager or direct supervisor

  • 56% agree their employer made their furlough a human and dignified experience

  • 75% hope to return to work in some capacity for their same employers
