The Value of Flexible Development for Senior Leaders

You have identified the need for your senior leaders to adopt more of a coaching style of leadership.  What’s more the leadership team is on board! They have come to understand as well as you do that by changing their leadership behaviours they can generate greater levels of engagement amongst staff, increase ownership and accountability and fundamentally improve creativity, innovation and responsiveness in volatile and uncertain times.  They see the need for change and are ready for it.

BUT, is it really that simple?  For most senior leaders, their day job is already complex, all encompassing and demanding.  Finding the time and energy to invest in a significant education route is for some, out of the question.  And there is a risk that developing new skills, however useful will fall by the wayside.

Let’s apply a coaching question to this dilemma…what other options are there for the Senior Leader?

Well, typically most post-graduate coaching qualifications take at least 12 months to complete and a considerable amount of effort outside of the day job.  At Notion, we have listened carefully to our clients and created a flexible programme fit for busy senior leaders who want to build coaching skills at their own pace and to a level that suits their needs.

Each module is a stand-alone programme and can also link together to form a full ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

  •  Operational Coaching Practitioner

If you want to develop critical operational coaching skills as part of your management style, this 2-day workshop delivered by one of the world’s top coaching experts will give you the skills you need.  With continuous support over a 12-month period, this programme will help you learn how to coach ‘in the moment’ in real life situations.

  • Accredited Internal Coach

For those who are inspired to learn how to work more formally as an Internal Coach, this additional 2-day workshop will give you the processes, skills and tools you need.  You will also become an accredited Coach and will develop a comprehensive understanding about how to measure the return on investment of your internal coaching sessions.

  •  ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.

Feeling inspired?  This final 2-day programme will give you a deeper dive into leadership, advanced communication skills, supervision and reflection.Futhermore, you will receive an ILM certificate and 12 months membership to the ILM.
