'New frontier' | 'Get ready for the jobs of the future', Government tells UK workers amid AI skills push

The Government has launched a new partnership with leading technology firms aimed at training millions of workers in artificial intelligence, as ministers seek to equip the workforce for what they call the “new economic frontier”.

The initiative, which officially began on Friday 13 June, brings together companies including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, BT, IBM and Sage, as part of a long-term plan to deliver AI training to 7.5 million people,  roughly one in five UK workers.
