Ex Citi employee allegedly 'penalised' for having a child reaches £215k settlement

A former Citibank employee has agreed to a £215,000 settlement after alleging she suffered sex and disability discrimination following a period of maternity leave.

Speaking on the case, which was settled without admission of liability, Maeve Bradley said she took legal action to ensure other female employees would not be “penalised for taking time off to have a child.”
