BBC apologises for mishandling Radio 1 DJ's 'bullying & misogynistic' behaviour

The BBC has apologised for its failures in handling “bullying and misogynistic behaviour” by former Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood, admitting it “fell short and failed people.”

It follows the publishing of an independent report looking at how the BBC dealt with Westwood’s conduct after the DJ faced multiple complaints of workplace bullying and sexual misconduct.
