70 female chefs have signed an open letter condemning widespread sexism in restaurant kitchens, calling for more to be done to tackle systemic inequality in the culinary industry.

The open letter, first reported by The Telegraph, describes the ‘exhaustion’ felt by women working in UK restaurants who face “inappropriate comments and behaviours” and “unequal opportunities for advancement."
