Labour launches new four-day workweek trial - It's time for HR to act, regardless of the results

The first four-day workweek trial under the new Labour Government began yesterday, under which 1,000 UK workers will work a reduced workweek without sacrificing pay.

The pilot scheme, operated by the 4 Day Week Campaign, will involve 17 businesses growing to 21 in the coming months, most of which will test a four-day workweek. Others will test a nine-day fortnight.
