Santander says office working 'vital' as new hybrid mandate imposed

Santander has become the latest big company to ramp up efforts to bring employees back into the office, telling its UK staff they must be in the office for an average of at least three days a week.

The high street bank informed its 10,000 office-based employees that the current recommendation of two to three days per week in the office will be replaced with a quota, requiring them to register 12 days a month in-office by the end of 2024.
