Digital security | Dell & Capital One among firms impacted by employee data cyber attack

An employee data leak through a third-party app has impacted roughly 900 firms, including Dell, Capital One, AT&T and Verizon.

The third-party company, Simpli, used by some major tech companies, reportedly had a publicly available web directory, resulting in 10,000 employee credentials being leaked.
