In the last year alone Brits have taken six percent more sick leave, which is up 55% since 2019. But new research has revealed the most common reason for a sick day isn’t actually related to personal illness.
With sickness absence on the rise in the UK, Access People, part of The Access Group, gathered absence data from over 1,775 SMEs to uncover the top reasons why employees are calling in sick.
